Friday Update: Cher, Britney & Will.I.Am, Solange and Loreen Interview

In case you think I'm doing nothing at all in between posts here, take heed of some new stuff I've done for GCN.

Today's music post covers a pretty diverse range of tunes including the new Cher (!) tune, that Britney/Will.I.Am track that appeared online last weekend and music from Solange and Villagers for "the hipsters" amongst you. Peep that post here.

Also, this month's copy of GCN is now online and in print across Ireland. It includes my chat with Eurovision star Loreen which was alot of fun to do. Click here to read the online edition, click through to the main mag and read my feature on pages 28/29.

Nude, Nude, Slightly Rude: New Kylie Video Arrives

You might have caught a glimpse of the new Kylie Minogue video after it's debut across the web in the last 24 hours. All The Lovers is that perfect pop moment, when a new track sounds new and fresh but just familiar enough to fit in with what the artists is doing. Buoyed by Stuart Price's rather good production it's a neat mix of euphoric electro moments and whisper-tastic vocals from Miss Minogue.

The video does the track justice by way of plenty of flesh, plenty of groping, an inflatable balloon (!) and Kylie looking as ageless and fresh as ever (How. does. she. do. it.) Shot in LA earlier this by renowned music video director Joseph Kahn (Britney, Christina, Janet etc) it's sure to get Kylie plenty of fresh attention for the release of new album Aphrodite.

If I was to sum it up in terms of other videos and popstars (because let's face it, how would else would you want to describe it?) I would say the following:

Kylie's Slow video + Piles of semi naked hotties in the vein of Britney's I'm A Slave 4 U + flattering lighting + wierd echoes of Cloverfield (it's the skyscraper and the shifty angles, I'm sorry) + tastefully sexy white outfit for Kylie = All The Lovers

All the Lovers is out on the 25th of June followed by the new album Aphrodite on the 2nd of July.
